How do I develop natural born salesperson sales charisma and what is it? Sales Charisma is achieved when a messenger delivers communication in such a way that tone, sincerity, integrity, authenticity, and warmth evoke emotional and ideological agreement in us all. It is arguably a state of nirvana or bliss you receive for some of the most effective leaders in the world. You are fueled these communicators by audience agreement and satisfaction. I feel the most effective way to attain sales charisma is to love yourself first, believe in yourself and believe you can accomplish anything regardless if another also shares that sentiment about you. It brings tears to my eyes thinking about my parents sharing “You can accomplish anything you put your mind to…” It ultimately is about you choosing to control your own belief system. Most NBS leaders have it, but not all. Only the best of the best, have it. Fortunately, it’s power can be easily observed behavior when we are drawn to another person in such a positive way that you feel safe and comfortable with almost any outcome the individual suggests or shares. It's not too good to be true. It is a clear value exchange where sender and receiver accept the boundaries of engagement with one another. Sales charisma almost makes an individual the communicator seem electric… in one on one conversations, you feel like you are the only person they care about, and they are speaking directly to you. Their tone and confidence in themselves and respect of you and the subject matter is self-evident.
We most commonly see sales charisma in people we put our trust into like pilots, preachers, physicians and those who reach the pinnacle of excellence in their chosen profession. Yes it can even be false confidence in people by continued observation. Because of the meaning of their presence we want to believe in them.
This is the true power of carrying yourself with so much swag that others want to join or affirm your cause. This is a very hard concept to coach or train. A key to success here is to not sweat the small stuff and don’t choose to react to everything without thinking about your desired outcome first. By reacting does it serve you well? or could it potential bring you harm? Sharing all of your personal feelings may not be relevant moving forward or necessary in addition to the fact that you left. Play like a champion… like someone who has been there and convince yourself you have even though the truth is otherwise. Visualize success.
